I mean, think about it: If most people in the US are descendant from Europeans, how come there are still people in Europe?

It's kind of like the perfectly valid question about evolution: If humans evolved from apes, how come there are still apes?

I think it's a lie: Most Americans aren't descendant from Europeans at all. God just put us all where we are, just like he created Adam out of dirt and Eve out of a rib.

Lord of the Flies: Shucks! You caught me! Did it work?

Linda J: Oh really?

I'm 27 years old, I've never been drunk, never done any drugs, never had so much as a speeding ticket--I'm a virgin (I guess that's good by Christians standards; don't see why), I return money to the cashier when she gives me too much change, I took care of my Grandmother with alzheimer's (sp?) for a year while I was going to college.

What is it that I ought to change, do you think? Maybe I have to be more holier-than-thou and condescending?

nico: How silly of me, to have missed that! I guess I skimmed over that part in my history book while studying for the test...

chico2149: Or it could mean I'm just really ugly.

My personal virtue, or lack thereof, aside, I would have liked it if you might have put forth an answer to the actual question.

It's because everyone in Europe back in the 1900s got on a big boat with George Washington and sailed to America. The boat was leaking so Thomas Jefferson decided to throw a bunch of people over. Those people swam back to Europe to populate the continent. Duh, yooz so stoopid.

I am not quite sure if you know what you are asking. I will say this. What does the word European mean to you? Does it mean the location of a group of people, the color of the people, or the attitude of the people? In order to know the answer, figure out where they came from(originally) and when they showed up.Then you will understand why there are still Europeans in Europe and why the Europeans here in the US have Evolved into something different. As for Adam and EVE ha ha. How do you get a woman out of a man? Every human born is female before the male chromsome kicks in and crops brains cells so it can become male.( that it why men have nipples). If you can figure out a rib in there somewhere you are good. As for God putting us where we are, I really don't think the Holy Divine is concern with your locale in the world. Nor is the Big Big a taxi driver dropping folks off.

Actually, it's not hard at all and let me give you an example.

My great-great grandparents came here from Europe in the mid 1800s. They had 15 kids. One died before she had children. Those 14 kids had between 5 and 8 kids. And those kids had kids. There were NO MORE family members who came from Europe (which is why everybody in the US with my surname is related by blood or marriage). The current family has more than 200 living members of the family although now none of the original 1st or 2nd generations are still alive.

I don't think we are descended from apes but are alien colonists. ;)

The truth is that the European migration that began with Columbus was the largest migration of a people (whites) in human history. They're everywhere! There goes one now!

You do good works on the surface...but not knowing you I have no idea what you are really like....the cover does not tell the whole story.....being a virgin could be great or could mean you just are not very nice once people get to know you and do not want to get close to you or you to them...

When it comes right down to it, the only reason why you choose not to believe is that you know if you did, you would have to change your life style in some way.
You don’t like the idea of handing over your life to someone else whose going to tell you what you can and can not do.
Bottom line is you want to run your life as you see fit.
Well fine, go ahead and be your own boss; sooner or later you’re going to get sick and tired of constantly getting yourself into one mess after another. When you’ve finally had enough of yourself, Jesus will be there to help you pick up the pieces of your broken shattered life and give you the joyful, peaceful life you could have had all along.
