"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life".....".no man cometh unto the Father but by Me".....and , "and no man cometh unto Me unless My Father first call him"................
Satan believes, but he isnt saved.............
Its a personal thing, for each of us, between us and the Holy Spirit, which will convict us, making us fear death because we are lost. Believing is the first step. Humbling ourselves and repenting is next. When the Father sees in our hearts that we are genuinely sorry for our sins, He will lift our burdens, giving us Sweet Peace, saving our souls.........its such a beautiful feeling, so hard to describe......simple words are not enough.
Very few will make it because very few will believe in the first place. Many will call on His name when they are on death's bed, but then it is too late. Also, many mock Him, saying His name in vain, therefore many call Lord, Lord. He doesnt hear you if you arent serious.
Its not by works ("lest any man should boast") .... so, just being "good" isnt enough. It's so simple a little child can understand it. The trouble is, most of us are already grown up and so far into the world that we dont want to believe anything that will take away our sinful pleasures. And, Satan is very convincing.
God isnt cold or heartless, but He has laid out the path for us to follow and we either do or we dont. There is no in between.
Everyone questions things at some point in their lives....they even question God and His Word. This is usually in the hopes that there is another way, because the Right way is not what they want to follow.....it means sacrificing something they dont want to give up. This is only human, but, as christians we should put our trust in God and know that His Will will always be done, and, He knows what is best for everything.

Believing that Jesus is the Son of God who was born and died for our sins and asking Him to come into your heart and be your personal saviour is all it takes to be saved from condemnation.
It says that very few will make it because many people think that as long as man sees them as being religious and praying for others even though they do not want to or are just doing it to show off, they will get to heaven.
Once you accept Jesus, it is Jesus that changes you. Jesus
gives you the heart you should have. Jesus says "come as you are" and that is because once you do humble yourself and ask Jesus to save you, He can work in you to make you
what He wants you to be. When He is done with you is when you probably will be called to Him in heaven.
Everyone is a sinner in need of a saviour. There is no one good, no not one.
Sick people need a doctor. Healthy people do not.
We are all sick with sin.
I do not know what you mean when you say God would be cold and heartless. You either believe God`s Word or you suffer the consequences of spending eternity away from Him.
That is the torment.

Once you come to Jesus, we need to ask Him to change us to be more like Him. I desire to have His heart and to know Him more each day. You have to pay a great price to have this type of relationship. I have walked with Him long enough to know that the price is worth it. What I have received in return can in no way be matched to what the world has to offer. I hope that I stay "hot" no lukewarm for Him and open to the work of the Holy Spirit. I really do want to be like Him. It also states in the Bible about the 10 virgins and only 5 had oil in their lamps, while waiting for the bridegroom. There will be those Christians that will not be ready and looking for His return. I see that you have alot of understanding as to how God wants us to be. He is not cold or heartless, He loves the world, but we can get that way if we don't seek Him all the time.

Employ the old saying: "Actions speak louder than words." A person may say they believe in God and even pray/ask for forgiveness. But if they go right back to what they know to be a sinful life style would that all they were doing was saying some good sounding words but didn't really mean or act upon it. Simple similarity: A person says they like the color red the best of any color, but they don't buy or own anything red. They would be saying one thing but doing another. As is taught in Ephesians 2:2-17. It is by grace that we are saved through faith. That faith is in Jesus and what He did for our salvation. It's up to us to live what we believe in what we say that we believe.

"I do believe in God but not the biblical one,"
I am sorry, but that is the only God there is, all others are made up by humans to suit their idea of what God should be like.
Isa 55:8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says Jehovah.
Isa 55:9 For as the heavens are high from the earth, so My ways are high from your ways, and My thoughts from your thoughts.
We do not have the mind of God, we cannot understand the "whys" for everything He does, but we trust and know that all He does is good. He does all things for His good pleasure and for His glory.
God chooses out those whom He wishes for salvation, based on His grace and mercy, no one deserves it. All humans are born dead in sin, and, except for the intervention of God, are destined to follow the natural course of their lives which ends in eternal destruction because of their sin. God is foremost, holy. A holy God cannot allow sin into His Heaven. He is also perfectly righteous. In His righteousness, sin must be dealt with. Either Christ took the punishment for sin due you, or you pay. Be assured, there will be no one pounding on the doors of Heaven wanting to get in. Those whom He has not chosen for salvation, will not care and do not believe.
God replaces our depraved hearts with a new one, one not made of stone, but one of flesh, one that beats towards Him and Him alone.

When it comes right down to it, the only reason why you choose not to believe is that you know if you did, you would have to change your life style in some way.
You don’t like the idea of handing over your life to someone else whose going to tell you what you can and can not do.
Bottom line is you want to run your life as you see fit.
Well fine, go ahead and be your own boss; sooner or later you’re going to get sick and tired of constantly getting yourself into one mess after another. When you’ve finally had enough of yourself, Jesus will be there to help you pick up the pieces of your broken shattered life and give you the joyful, peaceful life you could have had all along.

You have a basic mis understanding of The Salvation Message. those of the True Christian Faith do not base their faith on any simple " belief"... there is a fact upon which our Faith is based... it is personal between God and the individual... it need no be proved to any one. indeed, it can not be "proven" to any one... So it is unneccissary to Question the basis of our Faith... there are many other things within the teachings of our faith that are indeed questioned all the time... no one of The Faith would claim otherwise... But the reason for our Faith is fact... If you have any question concerning the basics of The True Christian Faith feel free to email me. One honest question will receive one honest answer to the best of my ability.

Good Question.
First let me say that nowhere in any Scripture does it ever say anyone is going to die and go to Heaven.
But, for those that are given to Jesus by His Father are known by their Christ, and He they know Him.
But, since we don't know who belongs to Christ, we should always have an open and loving heart toward all.
Remember that Saul of Tarsus must have looked like a sinner going straight Hell to the early Christian church, before his conversion. But he, like the self-proclaimed sinner hanging on the cross next to Christ were obviously in the Book of Life and given to Christ by His Father.
We blindly believe, because we are His and we recognize His voice and He recognizes us as belonging to Him.
God Bless You

He is speaking of the ones who are lukewarm, He says He will spew them from His mouth. You have to be willing to seperate yourself from sin, and live according to His Word, and when you truly love the Lord, you will want to do this, you cannot serve two masters, you are for God or for satan. This is why He says few will make it, because their hearts are far from Him.
