I am on the Sapara number 8. I am 11. My Khala(Aunt) teaches me with proper Tajweed(pronunciation). She teaches me and she learned it from her sister-in-law, who learned it from a famous Sheikh. So basically, I am learning it the hard way. The 'professional' way, lol. I read it every day, or try to, with her, over the phone, since I live in Illinois and she lives in Michigan. I haven't read it lately, because her husband had surgery yesterday, and she has been busy. I had to repeat the Yasernal(i cant spell it)Quran 2 times, then I did this practice packet, then I did the 30th Sapara, then 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and now I am on the eighth. Well, Allah Hafiz!

I started reading it and got about a third of the way through with the Qur'an. I have read all of the other booklets that came with it however. I am satisfied I have learned enough of that religion. I am amazed at how some in this country have gotten suckered into converting. One doesn't need to read the Qur'an completely, just read the bio of Mohammad and the history of Islam. You will run, not walk, away from that horror story.

:-)

I did 2 times a year, and continue to read every night after Maghreb with my daughter.

I read Ya shin every Thursday night.

Even though I am not a good reciter and still learning the pronunciation's and tajwid. Al Hakim Aza wa Jalla knows my will.

Blessed are those who read and teach Quran, understand it and act upon its advice. Doomed are those who reject this
last word from the Creator and Sustainer of worlds.

May Allah help you in your study. Try to find a teacher near you.

"Bismillahirahmaniraheem"

In Truth if a human being were to finish the Qur'an, they would become the Qur'an!

The Qur'an is much like the "Double Helix".
It is an endless process that we all must eventually complete!

As a human beings wisdom matures, the understanding within the Qur'an changes, and opens the door to the world of the "unseen". May we all pursue to one day finish the Qur'an and become the Qur'an.

"Peace be always with you."

I tried reading it, but it was hard going and so boring, I gave up half way. They say the real gory stuff is at the end.

It seems some people changed part of it for their own ends. But of course such things are never tolerated to be discussed.

Yes. I read it earlier this year.

It repeats itself over and over and over and over again. A real pet peeve of mine.
