How many missionaries and evangelists do you suppose are spread out in the world, beyond Christian homelands?

Are we pretty close to spreading the Word of God around the world? Do you think we are in "the last days" already?

When the gospel reaches all nations, do you believe Christ will return then?

Maranatha. Lord come!

YOu are right on. God says when the kingdom of God is preached to all the kingdoms, then Jesus will come, and thats pretty well there right now. Kimgdom teachings are world wide now, and being accepted for the truths they are. God wants us to live in holiness in this kingdom of GOD, I OUR HEARTS ARE FULLY HIS < AND WE ARE HIS KINGDOM, THOSE OF US THAT ARE FULLY HIS... anyhow, when this is preached to the nations, Jesus will come. Preaching the gospel of the good news and the next kingdom of God.
We are to live here and now in this kingdom as we prepare for the next kingdom in Heaven. This is Biblical, and its part of the last days mysteries of the Bible being revelaed in these last days. Only a few havent had a chance to hear now. Most remote villages all over the world have even heard the good news, so YES, Jesus is coming soon.
Soon and very soon..
Yes, this is in the last days, but we have more to go before Jesus Comes, a few prophecies still needing to happen first. But it can happen overnight. Our job is to live the truths of God, to speak them, without fear or compromise, TO love God enough to obey Him. Get ready and be ready to meet Jesus when He comes. Keep looking up, as its soon.
great question again.
God bless you again , over and over again, till JEsus comes.
Thanks Bud.

There is the gospel of Grace and the Gospel of the Kingdom.
The reference of the gospel being preached to the whole inhabited earth is in reference to the Kingdom.

Matthew 24:14 is quite striking in its speaking specifically about the " gospel of the Kingdom"

" And THIS gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a Testimony to all the nations and then the end will come"

This gospel of the Kingdom, includes the gospel of Grace

Acts 20:24" But I consider my life of no account as if precious to myself in order that I may finish my course and the ministry which I have received from the Lord Jesus to solemnly testify of the gospel of the grace of God"

The gospel of the Kingdom brings people not only into God's salvation but also into the Kingdom of the Heavens.( Rev 1:9)
The gospel of grace emphasizes forgiveness of sins, God's redemption, and eternal life. Whereas the gospel of the Kingdom emphasizes the heavenly ruling of God and the Authority of the Lord. The gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony to ALL the nations before the consumation of the age. Hence brother Mike, that preaching, signified by the white horse of the First Seal in Rev 6:1-2 will be a sign of the consumation of the age... the age of grace and ushers in the Age of the Kingdom.

This will mark the end of this dispensation.

May we all be the good earth for the spreading of this seed of the Kingdom. Giving the Lord the inner ruling of our hearts FIRST. This along with the preaching of the gospel of the Kingdom will give the Lord the way to turn the age.

Even if the word of Christ Travel all the Nation of Earth there are alot of people that don't believe or has other belief. A return on messiah is a hopeful thinking. But If Christ do return I am sure everyone will follow its teaching bring everyone together. but as for now I say Dim since many religion already have heard of Christ convincing them is like Convincing yourself not to believe in your beliefs. My advice? Follow the Lord with all your Heart show everyone that your Lord truly filled you with Love. and others will follow.

The word of god has been spread around the world far before christians were around. All cultures and societies have some beliefs in a supreme being already and do not require the gospel to teach them about god. I think that anything is possible but It is unlikely that we will trigger the return of christ any time soon. Im sure that many people believed that christ would return soon at many points in histroy only to be dissapointed. Just live your life as a good person (or a good christian if you are) and dont worry about christ returning, you will be waiting your entire life! -Alan

Yes, and we are very close. I have seen a few major pastors (Graham, Meyers, Stanley) speak about their efforts and how they have feeds into countries that only a few years ago, were not able to receive Christian TV feeds.

In fact, Billy Graham sent out a map showing where they have ministered and how much let to go (countries), believe me, there isn't much! I was very surprised, considering how large our world is, they are reaching people in the remotest locations and in countries predominately non-Christian for thousands of years. That's pretty impressive.

I'm pretty sure Jesus said he would come like a thief in the night, so I'm not sure anyone will be expecting him when he comes. As for me, I have a life to live. I am getting an education, looking for a relationship, and planning to have a wonderful life here on earth. That is what God has asked of me. So if he wants to interrupt that, what can I say?

Are we Living in the End Times?

What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age? This was a question the disciples asked Jesus.
Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ, and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. (Matthew 24:4-8)
Signs
Many will go here and there to increase knowledge. (Daniel 12:4) Right now technology increased so quick every thing in our houses is out dated in about half a year. We have so much knowledge available through the Internet; we will never be able to view it all on just one subject.
On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. (Zechariah 12:3) Just about everyone in the world is now against Israel. No one is able to destroy Israel once they become a nation again.
They will say, "This land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited." (Ezekiel 36:35) Before Israel came back to their promised land, the land was desolate. Now they are one of the biggest traders in the world in produce. Israel has rebuilt the entire city that was ruins. Israel has everything they need to rebuild the temple right now.
He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth. (Isaiah 11:12) This prophecy has already happened. Israel was scattered in 70AD. Now Israel has become a nation again.
He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:15) this prophecy can now take place. We now have computers that can keep track of everyone in the world. The world is already trying to form a one world government and currency.
Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. For three and a half days men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. (Revelation 11:8-9) Now this prophecy can happen also. Everyone can now watch these people on TV. We now have satellites that can show everyone in the world what is happening in a single place.
They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. (Luke 21:24) The time of the gentiles was 70A.D. until June 7, 1967. The 1967-generation is the generation that will see the Lord return. The bible says, "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. (Matthew 24:32-34) The fig tree is the symbol of Israel. The leaves coming out of the fig tree is the Jews becoming a nation again. Summer is referring to the days when Jesus will come back for the second time. The generation that sees this prophecy happen will not pass away until the Lord returns.
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. (2 Timothy 3:1-5) This prophecy is happening today. This describes just about everyone today.
Friend we are living in the end times right now. If you were to die today would you go to heaven or hell? If Jesus were to come back tonight would you already be right with him?

Yes...lol

When the "Word of God" gets around the world, Jesus the Christ, King of the Jews will return, perhaps with a different name but the same title, to reclaim the Throne of Israel for the Jewish people (which in fact was his true purpose), then we can finally do away with this cult worship (known as Christianity) of the guy who tried to do it the first time, Yehoshua ben Yosef (aka Jesus)

peace.

I assume that you are serious, so I will try to enlighten you.

First, for those who say that Jesus will not physically return to this earth, they need to read Acts 1:9-11.

.....9.....
Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
.....10.....
And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel,
.....11.....
who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."

These verses state that as you saw Jesus rise from the Mount of Olives, you will also see Him return to this exact spot.

However this is not the rapture of the church, it is the return of Christ to set up His thousand year kingdom on this earth.

As to what signs may be seen before He brings His wrath on the wicked, Revelation 6:9-11 tells us:

.....9.....
When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.
.....10.....
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?"
.....11.....
Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were was completed.

So it is not the number of people saved, it is the number of those who are martyred. When all that are to be martyred, have been martyred, then He will rapture the church and deal with the wicked on this earth.

Remember that those who are martyred will be in heaven with Jesus when all this begins.

In Revelation 7:9-17 you can read about those whose robes have been washed in the blood of the Lamb having secured their place in heaven.

What happens after the saints are in heaven? There will be silence in heaven for about half an hour.
Why? Because all heaven is struck with awe because God is about to release His vengeance on those who do evil on the earth.
