Where do these ideas come from? No this cannot be compared to any crusade. And no this is not George Bushs war.
This war is not against Muslims, I t can be construed to be against certain Muslim extremists.
This war has no same goals as the crusades, that is the dumbest thing I have heard yet. it is not the intent of the USA or our allies to convert even one Muslim nor to kill even one innocent Muslim.
Hate us all you like, but its not very christian of you.

Do you remember 9/11? The Taliban? The African embassies? The Trains in Spain, Subways In London? The Muslims have been waging a Holy war on us not the other way around. You think this is Bush's war? You have no idea, it is a war for survival, Radical Muslims want only one thing, the conversion of Christians, Jews, Atheists, Buddhists and all others to their religion and beliefs, or the extermination of all who refuse. So, speak like a true Christian and stand up for the free will of humanity, instead of making up an opinion based on guilt from your ancestors and live in the present.

No. You Europeans may have slaughtered that many in previous crusades. But, we are engaged in a war against the Hirabah. Those whom even mainstream Islam condemns. And while millions of Muslims come to America and assimilate into our society, the Europeans treat them as the "children of the colonies". There has been one large scale attack by the Hirabah on our soil. Great Britain and Spain have suffered attacks. France has periodic madness in its streets where those Muslim tire of being marginalized as the children of the colonies, torching cars and engaging in riots.
Look around your Europe. Rotterdam has almost a majority of Muslims. The same situation is happening in the English midlands and Scandinavia. Muslims consigned to public housing with little opportunity for economic betterment. And please don't try to overlay your history on us over here. You are the very reason why millions escaped from your continent to find a new and better life here. And those millions are Christian, Jew, Muslim and every other faith.

Religion has little to do with it. Byzantine tyranny and taxation facilitated the rapid spread of Islam in the 7th century. The Crusades were a European land-grab pure and simple. Ottoman tyranny and the Europeans who created the superimposed boundaries sowed the seeds of the current problems in the region.
If France and Britain had listened to President Wilson and allowed Arab independence under the League of Nations, Iraq would probably consist of three stable countries - Sunni, Shiite and Kurd. Lebanon would be Christian and Palestine would be a Democracy run by moderate Jews and Moslems.
That being said, the US should have worked through the UN to subdue Iraq. It is not too late. We could turn it over to them now.

I am not pro for the war...however Muslims believe that when they die they have a 4th place in Heaven and believe if they wipe out Christians who they believe have a higher place in Heaven than they do that they get a higher place in heaven. They also believe when they go to heaven they get to have sex with 70 virgins.... I bet alot of Christian guys would be converting to muslim if they knew this and well that would end the war probably LOL. But as I said I'm not pro war and definately want our troops sent home but yet we can't just let these extremist muslims kill us all so they can get their higher place in Heaven too as they believe.

the war on terror is not another crusade, it is not that well planed. bush and his advisers are trying to isolate terrorists with violence and in the possess they are only strengthening the terrorists.
a Christian can can be anything it is just one aspect of the person. a Christian can be a tyrant or a saint its not the religion that dictates who (s)he is.
