i've just sent in a letter to the USA, im just wondering how long it would take to get there.

i think im 2nd class aswel.

If it was first class, about 5 - 7 days by air. I know I send packages first class from USA to friend living in Australia. Letters have been no different, unless holidays are involved

Airmail takes about 7 days. By sea takes as much as a month.

5 to 7 business days is the norm mate... but with holidays and all (like right now) it could take up to a fortnight.

since it's international...prob 7 business days.. and its during the holidays so it might take more/less time.

if its a package then count on two weeks or more
