I don't know. Maybe it's just my age group. But, I can't find anybody with real thoughts and feelings anymore. I know people like my friends and family are okay, just because I know i can trust them. But, I've had several relationships that have all been the same way. Everybody has to play a game. No one can just tell you how they feel anymore. Dose anybody else have this problem?

My problem is that people are too stupid. My game is making fun of them now. That's all life seems to be about now.

I had a 3 then 4 year relationship. I know what you mean and how you feel. I took a chance and married someone after knowing them for 2 weeks and it's been amazing. I think you have to go through alot of bad eggs until you find a good one that is perfect for you. I've been married for a few years now and I think that love is amazing when both people find that saying nothing at all means everything, by just the connection.

Of course teenagers these days are totally fake, I would know because I've had this problem but duh, Im only a teen. I've had some relationships with my great friends and it seemed that they were all different and in different ways they were fake. I know its a little high school but some people just dont know. Sometime I dont know what their real feelings are. Its really annoying if you ask me, but then again, sometimes people change if you talk to them or just ask them. I think Im real and I haf probably more real feelings then most of the people I know. =]

After marriage the problem goes away.

The trick is to learn how to play the game to your advantage.
I,ve had more women flirting with me SINCE I got married. The only reason I can put this down to is that they want what they cant have. Think about it...?
Just a little food for thought. The harder you try, the harder it becomes. Try and remain aloof, as if it dont bother you one way or the other. You,ll soon see results.

I wouldn't call myself a free spirit. But I'm always real and refuse to be fake. What you see is what you get. If you ask me I'll tell you what I really think. If your feelings get hurt, too bad. It's more important to tell the truth. There's a saying that it's better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you are not.

Oh my. I'm not sure you can even trust your friends and family members to act with authentic expressions. Being authentic requires a lot of self confidence, and the ability to accept rejection. Do you act authentically all the time? Ya know, a lot of social interaction is simply a process of using ritualized interaction processes. You gave no data that reveals your age, but ya know, just accept how folks present their ideology. You don't have to agree, but it's not necessary to be critical either. If the situation is unacceptable to you, just leave. Much of our social behavior/values result from the culture we developed in. I like to watch and listen.

I'm 40 something and I go through the same BS. I am very honest in a relationship and men seem to have a problem with that. I guess that makes them uncomfortable

I have that problem. I dated one guy because he was whining that no girl is ever honest with him and he wants someone that will just say how she feels. I do that. We dated and he ended up being more closed off than anyone I've ever met. And I was apparently too honest for him. It's hard to find people that will open up... Even my current boyfriend won't tell me if something is wrong, he'll just ignore everything. Oh well.

Actually no. No one is real. Very few. Probably 2 out of 100 people are. Like seriously. I feel like I'm living in a life that's fake.

An honest politician, a sincere lawyer and Santa Clause were coming off an elevator. There was a twenty dollar bill on the floor. Which one of the mentioned three picked it up?

Santa Clause...because the other two don't exist!

From teens to 30's people often do not say what they think. Some is game playing, some is fear of hurting someone, or being hurt back.

I am now 39 and I say it how it is. I would say get some backbone and be straight forward regardless of consequences.
