I say egg too. But then again i believe in evolution. The egg is a cell i believe the earth was created by a mass of energy which also produced everything else such as the egg. Thus the egg comes before the chicken.

Actually, a chicken and an egg were lying in bed together when the chicken suddenly rolled over and lit up a cigarette. So, the egg said, "Well, I guess that answers THAT question!"

Your question is most interesting. It got me to wondering. So I called our local Denny's.The manager,Ted Tyson, assured me the egg came first. He sited some rather off the wall statistics.For instance, you frequently hear people say He/she had egg on their face.Rarely "he had chicken on his/her face.An abstract statistical anomaly.He sited other things to prove his theory.People buy a dozen eggs--not a dozen chickens.Not especially satisfied, I called Kentucky Fried Chicken.I was informed they sell much more chicken than eggs, which,to him, proved the chicken came first.I became very confused so I went to my favorite restaurant and had fried chicken with an omelet on the side.Hope this answers your question.
