Finger food Buffet; lil smokies with barbque sauce, turkey and ham slices wrapped up with cream cheese and horse radish filling, shrimp cocktail, sausage cheese balls, veggie tray, Ruben dip with crackers, fruit cake and cookies and a fruit platter, for Christmas eve, on Christmas day it will be honey ham, squash casserole a veggie and leftovers from the night before, than the family gets to eat fast food till next years holidays again, lol.

My poor boyfriend had his wisdom teeth taken out on Monday and he still can't eat anything but soft food. So, he'll probably have mashed potatoes and scrambled eggs, and I'll have a TV dinner. We're gonna have Christmas dinner on New Years Eve this year, we decided. We'll have duck if we can find it, ham if we can't. Also, we'll have sweet potatoes, some kind of vegetable, and dinner rolls. For dessert, we'll have cherry pie and a glass or three of some port wine.

Of course we are EATING, but our celebratory dinner is Christmas Day. We're having:

Shrimp & Corn Chowder
Rib Eye Steaks
Twice Baked Potatoes
Broccoli or Asparagus ( haven't decided yet)
Sister Shubert Rolls (frozen section)
Flan for Dessert

I'm thinking of making a pound cake tonight, just to snack on tomorrow.....

My family will all be here and this year instead of making the usual "formal" dinner i am setting up two different "Fondue Pots". We will have homemade breads and a veggie tray for dipping. Also having meatballs and barbeque cocktail weenies, deviled eggs shrimp, and a pot of homemade onion soup. There will be two different cheeseballs, chips and dip and plenty of Wine. Homemade cakes, cookies and fudge for dessert.

We're going out for dinner to Flemings Steak House. I really like their Beef Flemington. Their cheese and crostini platters are fantastic. They also have one of best wines by glass list.

It is my husband's birthday, so I am making Chicken Cordon Bleu, potatoes, and sauteed vegetables with a white cake and chocolate icing for dessert.

Probably left over spaghetti again. I made way to much for a single gal. No Christmas here again.
