Ok, Well, thanks to Christmas, i have TWO sick cats in my home, and they can't see a vet until Wed. because i live in a very isolated small town,(montana) and we just don't have a 24 hour emergency vet like i did in south carolina.
Here's the problem!!!
Monday I took Bleu to the vet, he had thrown up, and it was time for his boosters shots, vet gave it to him, he was fine played with Symba for the rest of the afternoon, no prob.
Well, tues. Symba started vomiting...again, Symba was due for shots wed. got them was fine. Well, Yesterday they apparently started a vomit war, and me at work, did not know this until i came home to a house covered in puke. Well, now i have two sick cats, and no vet until like i said wed. they have been on the same cat food since weaned and now just cant keep it down, its starting to come out filmy liquidy type vomit, and i have a 9 month old baby i dont need around this....WHAT DO I DO?????

keep the cats isolated in a room away from your baby. give small amounts of pepto bismol to help soothe their stomachs. make sure they keep hydrated ....if they wont drink water or cant keep it down... force feed pedialyte and water with a baby syringe (the kind with no needle..that you use to give babies medicine.)

Basic treatment for vomiting:
First of all, remove all food and water. Fast them for 3-4 hours - give their tummies a chance to settle.
Then, boil them some chicken - no salt or seasoning, just plain boiled chicken. Also save the broth you boiled it in. First offer them just a little broth (room temperature). If the drink it and hold down for an hour, offer a little (about a tablespoon or so) of the chicken meat - no skin or bones, just meat. If they hold it down for an hour, give a little more. Continue small meals of boiled chicken or chicken baby food every few hours. If at any point in this process they throw up, fast 3-4 hours again, then begin again with broth.
If they still cant hold ANYTHING, even liquids down, you have no choice but to find some type of veterinary care so they can at least get some subque fluids, or they will be very dehydrated very quickly. Wednesday is likely to be too late.
Suggestions for finding vet care:
1) Call your vet's office - there may be emergency instructions on his answering machine, or his answering service may be able to get ahold of him in an emergency.
2) Try vets in neighboring towns - somebody's got to have an emergency number.
3) Ask your neighbors/friends with pets. If its a small town, someone probably has the vets home number.

BTW - did you tell the vet your cats had been throwing up recently before he gave the shots? If you did and he gave them anyway, he made a mistake - animals who are sick or suspected of being sick should never be vaccinated - the vaccine stresses their system and can make any illness worse. If you didnt tell the vet about the vomiting, now you know - always tell the vet about any symptoms your pets are having.
It would also be a good idea to ask your vet what you should do in this type of situation - there must be some sort of provision for emergencies, and it would be good to know for future reference.

Please after this round, whatever the vets say yor cats do not need to be vacconated again. It's a dirty litle secret how many cats get bad reactions fron vaccines and how getting boosters does not help nor is it needed.

You can give your cat 1/4 tab of pepcid ac 2x in a day and that shoulod help. (Vets do prescibe pepcid) It has to be ac not plain pepcid

Are they maybe constipated?

My cat got constipated after her desexing, and she kept throwing up anything she ate, + hair balls etc. we gave her some cat lax and she was much better.

Give them lots of water, + small amounts of food
n make sure u clean up the vomits quickly and properly.

n check the food's not expired or anything?!

Hope they get better soon:(

DO NOT give your aniamals pepto or ANY meds.. Never give pet's human meds...make sure they have plenty of clean water, do not let them eat solids until they see vet. They may have eaten something poisionious outside or something from your xmas tree, if you have one up. hopefully you can get them in early on Wed., or call the vet and leave a message for vet to call you back asap.

Something soothing to the stomach, like white meat of chicken, will help stop stomach problems. NO skin, no bones, just the chicken meat.
