yes but you can only use 1 or the other not both at once. i don't recommend doing it on a computer built to run xp though.

Dual boot,by definition,means that two operating systems are installed.The choice at boot being managed by a boot loader.Windows Vista & XP could indeed be installed and I have provided a link to a tutorial where Vista is pre-installed,with Xp being added.The procedure if followed correctly is relatively simple.Good luck!!http://www.syschat.com/dual-boot-vista-xp-vista-already-1946.html

It means at startup you can choose what OS to boot into although you can run XP and Vista i think vista might have trouble on a win xp computer...
