im thinking about buying a holga camera and there is this Shutter Release Kit thing that im thinking about buying along with the camera. but im not completely sure what it does. does anyone know?

It presses the shutter using the cable, so you dont have to press down with your finger. It helps to keep your camera stable, with your camera on a tripod, keeping camera movement to a minimum.

Its so you can use a cable release for long exposures. You'll also need a tripod. A copy of the FotoSharp (fotosharp.com) Day & Night Exposure Guide would also be useful if you plan on shooting night scenes or in low light.

Buy it. You never know.

You can use it on a variety of manual cameras of old.
