As long as you only take them by following the directions on the bottle.

If it says ONE a day then ONLY take ONE a day!!

If you eat a balanced diet then you SHOULD be getting most of the vitamins you need and a Multivitamin is only a SUPLIMENT to a balanced diet.

If your eating nothing but french fries and moutain dew then taking a Multi won't keep you "Healthy".

Centrum is a decent brand but you can get the same think in a "Store Brand" for half the price.

The big thing you need to do is read the back and make sure that you are not super-dosing on vitamin's that have no scientific evidence showing that mega-doses are any better for you then the standard 100% daily allowance dose.

Studies have been showing that super-doses of some vitamins are actually REALLY bad for you and if you take a pill with 500% daily allowance then go out and eat food with 150% daily allowance THEN drink a "Vitamin Water" with an ADDITIONAL dose...

You get the idea...

This stuff add's up really quick with all of the suplimented and fortified foods and drinks we consume.

More is TOTALLY not always "Better" when it comes to vitamins!

So to answer your question... Yes, it is safe, just use your head and don't buy into the alt-med hype!

I took alot more than whats in that vitamin when I was 15, so I don't think it's bad

but everyone is different, I never had good food to eat so I needed all the vitamins I could get

everyone is different

Just don't take too much iron or B, that is really bad to do

Safe? Yes, but effective? Probably not. Stick with some flintstones vitamins :)

If you eat your fruits whole and your veggies stream. You won't need to worry about a vitamin, but since you feel you need one. I would check it out with your Doctor.
