This is my first Christmas as a single mom to three little ones, and I have been provided for by my church and friends and family in so many awesome ways. What can I do to thank one family in particular who has given us above and beyond what we ever thought possible?

directly? a simple heartfelt 'thank you' should suffice...if they have their own children, maybe you could offer to watch their kids for an evening; and when financial circumstances permit, do what you can for another family! Merry Christmas and may God continue to bless you and your family!

A 'Foxhole Christian' speaking here but have you thought about standing up in front of the congregation and thanking the family that supplied the help. Maybe they weren't looking for any material sort of thanks but merely an acknowledgment that you appreciate what they did. Seems to me a way to do it. Please have a Merry Christmas and remember the reason for the season.

You could bake some cookies with a thank you note. They must know that you appreciate what they have done for you. They have received great joy in giving to you. You are blessed! God loves you so much, He is a great provider. I am a single mom and God has never failed me, never. Just put your trust in Him, He will always come trhough for you and your needs.

Tell them what you've told us,.Meaning thank them for giving you more then you thought was possible and fully express your delight, that should mean a lot.
