When my dad was accused of a crime he didn't commit. The court system did not even listen to the changes made by the accuser's story. I know my sister wanted to leave to live with her birth mom...but she didn't need to incriminate my dad. He was going to let her leave at the end of her junior year anyway. I was a witness to his innocence, but the courts would not let me speak up for my dad because I was only 8 at the time. The lawyer told my dad to take the plea bargain or risk going to prison for 6 years. He had to stay in jail for almost 6 months, and when they let him go, they would not let him live with us for a long time. He lost his teaching job, and many people looked down on him. I don't look down on him because I know he is innocent. He took the plea bargain so he could work to support us, and to be able to visit with us. Now I know that God is an Awesome God, my dad has a lot of faith and that is why he did not give up on life. I want to become a pastor when I finish school. I want to be able to keep on serving God no matter what the world thinks of me, like my dad.

God brought me through a time of intense temptation to fall back into one element of my old lifestyle. It was very intense, and I came very close to falling and probably losing everything on earth that is important to me, my husband and kids. God pulled me through and showed me how to turn the temptation over to Him. What He prepared me for was ministry. And the experiences served to soften me and make me more understanding of those who are currently trapped in that lifestyle. As well as give me a testimony that it IS possible to get through temptation.
Now, there have been other times with death in the family and such, but really as far as preparation that time of temptation stands out the most. Before that, I had just experienced deliverance and sort of thought that those who struggled lacked faith, after that time, well, I understand.

When my ex-wife caused the death of our 8 month old son (more than 14 years ago)...I am not sure what I was being prepared for, but I know I want to spend more quality time with my remaining children...(a different wife now--this one is a Christian).
I have other trying experiences more recently--I still don't know what I am being prepared for, but I know that in the end, all things will work out for the Good for those who love the Lord.

I was suffering from many years of great bouts of Bipolar Disorder. God was about to heal me, and use my concern to help others in coping with or overcoming their illness. I continue to be stable and sympton fre after 12 years.

Yes, I do.....when my identical twin died.
He worked everything out for the best, as I was told in Romans 8:28.
Thanks!
