i grew up in a christian family but didn't accept christ into my life until only about two years ago. I am in a public highschool, and for the most part, am a complete stranger to my life at home. i feel so tired of being a christian, but i know this is wrong. lately, i've been listening to good uplifting christian music to try and get myself back with god, but nothing really pops out at me. i don't want a devotional book, i just want a book that is not bible verse after bible verse. i've tried chicken soup but i did'nt like it. any spiritual books for teenagers that give really great intakes amd lessons on life as we live it? preferably for girls. i love jesus so much and i have gone through many storms trusting Him, but i want my lif to be completely Christ-filled and i want all my non-christian friends to wonder why i am different. as i said before, i love my God so much and am striving to try to make my life a beter example of His redemption and love.

May I offer you the very best books available today? Many Christian authors have not been born again and are really only spreading Satan's message.
God said we must be holy as He is holy. So how do we become sinless, blameless and righteous right now in front of Him? Many Christians make Him a liar because they refuse to believe in the full atonement of the water and the Spirit (John 3:5). They do not belong to Him even as they carry on doing what they do.

If you are Christian, then you must accept that you are the pot, and that god is the potter. God has molded you into what he wants you to be at this point in your life. Don't make the mistake of thinking that he has "good" things in mind for your life or that he wants you to appear different to your friends. This may be what you want, but you can’t assume to know the mind of the god or what he intends for you. The bible reads that god made both the good and the evil and that not every vessel has been prepared for noble deeds. The struggle you feel could be you struggling against his molding.

If you are not a Christian, then I suspect that you will reject this answer.

What does it mean to be truly free? That's a rhetorical question.

To answer your question more directly I suggest the book titled "Enders Game" Written by Orsan Scott Card. He is a Mormon by the way.

I really liked the book "Heavenly man". It's about a Chinese man that came to know Jesus and how much he sufferedfor the Lord. It also shows me how strong prayer is in each & every one of our lives. Prayer is very powerful and builds up your relationship with God.

They'll be better christians for reading them, if they read them objectively. It may also give them some sort of insight into higher questions. If they end up disbelieving in god, well that's just up to them.
