no, i haven't had blood work done but thats mainly my fault. i think of it and it is extremely stupid of my but i am extremely afraid of needles. I've flipped out over shots and i've never had blood taken. i guess i hate needles so much that i'd rather deal with excessive pain then even get one little needle stuck in me. i just can't bare the thought of it. hearing stories just scare me so much my brother was getting blood drawn and they missed the vain so many times he had to guide the needle to it himself. it's unbareable to me.

1) If you don't have high blood pressure, a disease that affects clotting, or a nasal defect, you're probably picking your nose too much. Seriously, that's the #1 reason for 'em.

2) Headaches are tricky. OTC stuff masks the problem, doesn't solve it.

3) Wait 2 weeks, return to the doc, demand answers. It really could be mono. Sounds like it.

It's just guessing without getting the correct diagnostic tests - but headaches and bloody noses are usually due to problems with nasal passages or sinuses. If you live in a cold place, this could be caused by extremely dry air indoors - this dries up you nose, causing irritation, and it thickens the mucus so it can't drain out of the sinuses. A humidifier and saline nasal sprays may help, along with an expectorant like mucinex and decongestant/antihistamine such as Claritin-D.

Sinus problems can't explain the other problems, so there's probably something else as well. Hyperthyroid is a good possibility - this can be found out with a blood test.

If the headaches and dizziness occur mostly while your at home, and then disappear a few hours after leaving you house, you could have a carbon monoxide leak in your house.

The appendix is a closed-ended, slim tube as much as a few inches in duration that attaches to the cecum (the primary aspect of the colon) like a computer virus. (The anatomical identify for the appendix, vermiform appendix, approach computer virus-like appendage.) The inside lining of the appendix produces a small quantity of mucus that flows via the open core of the appendix and into the cecum. The wall of the appendix comprises lymphatic tissue that's aspect of the immune process for making antibodies. Like the relaxation of the colon, the wall of the appendix additionally comprises a layer of muscle, however the muscle is poorly constructed. What is appendicitis and what explanations appendicitis? Appendicitis approach infection of the appendix. It is idea that appendicitis starts whilst the beginning from the appendix into the cecum turns into blocked. The blockage is also as a result of a construct-up of thick mucus inside the appendix or to stool that enters the appendix from the cecum. The mucus or stool hardens, turns into rock-like, and blocks the beginning. This rock is referred to as a fecalith (actually, a rock of stool). At different instances, the lymphatic tissue within the appendix might swell and block the appendix. After the blockage happens, micro organism which generally are observed inside the appendix start to invade (infect) the wall of the appendix. The frame responds to the invasion through mounting an assault at the micro organism, an assault referred to as infection. An choice idea for the motive of appendicitis is an preliminary rupture of the appendix adopted through unfold of micro organism external the appendix.. The motive of the sort of rupture is doubtful, however it is going to relate to alterations that arise within the lymphatic tissue, for illustration, infection, that line the wall of the appendix.) If the infection and contamination unfold via the wall of the appendix, the appendix can rupture. After rupture, contamination can unfold during the stomach; nonetheless, it ordinarily is restricted to a small subject surrounding the appendix (forming a peri-appendiceal abscess). Sometimes, the frame is effective in containing ("remedy") the appendicitis with out surgical medication if the contamination and accompanying infection don't unfold during the stomach. The infection, suffering and signs might disappear. This is mainly precise in aged sufferers and whilst antibiotics are used. The sufferers then might come to the surgeon lengthy after the episode of appendicitis with a lump or a mass within the proper scale down stomach that's as a result of the scarring that happens for the period of remedy. This lump would carry the suspicion of melanoma.
