I've been plauged for many years. My mom took a MSS specialist a couple weeks after it started. I had all the symptoms. Mixed matched ankle socks littered my laundry bin and at that moment I broke down. The specialist said the only cure was to get my own laundry machine. I'm still on the road to recovery.

Hahaha my grandmother. When she tries to fold socks, a lot can be mixed together. Colors are the same but none ever match. I have to re fold them after she goes home.

I mix my socks because I don't feel the necessity to have them match.

I don't do it because I think it's cool, cute, or trendy.

I do it because I am too lazy to pair them together when folding laundry.

I did. I learned to deal with it years ago. But I will tell you this-- it took many years of intensive therapy to overcome this illness.
