I just did my Christmas Eve Dinner Shopping and I wanted to make a cheesecake, My husband is in the military overseas and the grocery store is already closed for the holidays The Vanilla I bought Broke and Now I am left with nothing for the cheesecake. Just wondering what I could put In the Chesecake To replace it

A lot!!! Basically, any fruit or nut flavored extract or sweet alcohol. To name a few:

Almond extract
Rum (or brandy or liqueur)
Lemon juice
Orange extract

The closest would be melted Marshmellow if you have some.

Don't use the other flavors suggested above unless you want that flavor through the whole cheesecake

Almond extract will give you a "cherry" flavor, and works exactly the same as vanilla. Good Luck!

Do you have almond extract?

That's a really good flavoring that you can use. I love the smell of it; and it tastes really go in place of vanilla in a few other recipes I've used.

Any extract will do. Almond flavoring works, as does orange. Mint not so much.

I wouldn't but maybe almond oil or orange oil?

when this usually happens with me i replace it with about a tablespoon of granulated sugar

any fruit juice, or other imitation flavoring you have. brandy or rum work well too.
