Single malt as opposed to a blend of malts.

Single malt scotch is an awsome drink. Just pour an ounce and sip on it without adding ice, water or anything else.

Drink to your health! Merry Christmas!

Single malt Scotch is made from one malt whereas (never heard of double malt) all others are blends of malt.

its exactly as it sounds........a single malt uses a single type of malt......a double malt, not very common, uses multiple malts, possible different years......could denote a blend. If you plan on sipping it go with single....scotch and soda....a blend will do.
