Yes, along with many folk, and generally if the con is known by you and you can prove it was a con, you can do a few things. small claims court, complain to the better business bureau, other than that you will have to figure out how important it is to you and learn from your mistake of trusting that person or business, and move on. Try to trust folk though because for the most part when involving business folk are wanting to be upright and honest. before doing business with others though you can do a little home work and check them out with the BBB, or other folk you know who may have used their service or done business with them before. Do not let this sting keep you from trusting others, if you question someone or are in doubt about their claims, check them out. Do not blame yourself for being tricked out of money or time, get over it quickly and move on.

Yes. When I was younger I took my first car to a dealership to have it fixed. They charged me $400 for a part that didn't even exist. I found out through my two mechanic neighbors who were upset that I didn't go to them first.

yes , on the internet by someone telling about their sick child. i lose some money . but stop . sending after i found it was a scam.
