The date of the celebration is traditional and has Pagan practices written all over its origin - so please -stop brainwashing your kids -also note that
"NO MENTION OF CHRISTMAS IN THE HOLY BIBLE"
Throught out his 33 years on earth ,Jesus Christ NEVER celebrated his birthday.The 1st century Christians & disciples NEVER celebrated Christ birthday nor theirs
However, Christ commanded his disciples to celebrate his death -during-the passover-
Apostle Paul at 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 wrote;
23For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." 25In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." 26For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

THERE IS NO EVIDENCE:
There is no evidence in The Holy Bible that Christmas is to be celebrated, in fact, The Apostles, the disciples, the first true believers and even for the next three centuries we find absolutely no record anywhere that anyone spoke about or observed what we know today as 'Christmas'.
SO, HOW DID ALL THIS GET STARTED?
Before the birth of The Messiah, Y'shua our LORD, The Romans had a pagan feast called 'saturnalia' that was observed during the early part of winter, what we now call 'December', and its heathen feast and practices fell towards the end of the month.
As a result of Roman Catholicism connecting church and state around the year 313 A.D., the secular and religious became in many instances one issue. It is from this point in history that we begin to witness many pagan and lurid rituals and activities that became lot and parcel of 'so-called' Christianity

Christmas the celebration as we know was formed in light of the Christ. it was formed by the early church most likely, even if it wasn't called christmas and the customs of which were practiced widely by agnostics and pagans.
these people knew a savior had come into the world and died and rose again, so therefor they would've seen fit to commemorate the occasion of His birth. keep in mind, Christmas as we know it today isn't anything like it was back then. they knew the meaning of it, even the heathen knew the meaning of it.

Chanukkah is in the gospels (Jesus went up to Jerusalem for the Festival of Lights) and that's not celebrated by christians.
Apparently, even if it was good enough for Jesus....!
(My grandmother, a devout christian, said that we should celebrate it because the angels celebrated, as witnessed by the shepherds keeping watch over their flocks--but I'm Jewish, so...)

The same reason you can not find any other pagan 'holy' day in the Bible. It has nothing what so ever to do with Christ, Christianity, or with salvation.

why would it talk about it in the bible if we aren't even allowed to celebrate it? maybe you should say new testament instead of saying the whole bible.
