I created a file in my documents. Then you put the CD in. Go to your computer. Right click on CD and select copy to... then you select the folder you created.
Pop out the CD, go to your documents and right click on your copy of XP and send it to you burner.
Pop in a blank and burn it.
Test it. Don't let it install tho.

As long as it is an extra copy for your computer, all you need is a dual CD burner, one where you put the CD in and one where you copy the CD.

But I've never made copies of any of mine. I keep them in a safe spot.

Unless your pc is brand spanking new, its rather pointless. You needed to do it immediately.

EDIT : Doh - Nicole is right!! I'm so sorry - I didn't read your question properly!
