I'm going to my first Midnight Mass, and I don't know what type of clothes are appropriate. Also, can someone tell me how long the services usually are?

Do dress modestly, covering yourself, so as not to cause lust in anothers heart. The services are usually over an hour. Do refrain from alcohol or any other substances prior to this holy event. In my household, we did not eat anything one hour prior to Midnight Mass, but we were rewarded afterwards with yummy snacks Mama prepared

Clothing should reflect the importance of the day. Preferably no jeans, but it all depends on your financial abilities. You should dress the best you can. The length depends. The actual Mass will be at least an hour, hour and a half. The priest could be long-winded, so it could be longer. My Church also begins Midnight Mass with music, so if yours does, you should factor that in as well. I hope you enjoy it. I know I always do!

I would recommend that you do not go to any church..... The Bible tells us the church age ended in 1988. In 2 Thessalonians 2 and Matthew 24:15, 16, the Lord informs us that satan (man of sin, son of perdition) is now ruling in ALL the local churches! We are presently in the period called the Great Tribulation which precedes the visible 2nd coming of Christ. The churches have become Babylon (Revelation 18:4) and God commands the true believers to come out.

many churches are cold at midnight mass on christmas eve. if yours is, you will need to wrap up warm. (check with someone you know who went last year).
though you don't say whether this is a christian or a wiccan ceremony.
if it is a wiccan celebration: the less you wear, the less you have to take off.
