From cover to cover we find words of making music or praising God. God created us and He know us so very well. Sometimes we sing just because we are so happy, but other times we sing and make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
In Heaven the angels surrounding the Throne are singing day after day 'Holy is the Lord'.
But the one I like the most is found in Rev. 19:6,'Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear."
So the big Q? are you ready to meet the bridegroom? Have you become truly born again by the water and the Spirit?

All through the Psalms there are exhortations to sing praises to God.
By singing praises to God, we are in fact glorifying Him and we are also filling a fundamental need that we have to praise the praiseworthy. Consider standing in awe at the precipice of the Grand Canyon. The experience just isn't the same unless you have someone there to share it with.
You want to say, "Isn't that great?" And in truth, your joy really isn't complete until you've had the opportunity to do so. That's kind of how it is when you sing praises to God. It's a win-win.

Most of Psalms talks about singing God's praises. Exodus and Leviticus also has instructions on praising God.

Happiness...Joy...Glee...Awe...(things like that...!) "Peace!" think: why would you "run and hug your mother, and tell her how much you love her and appreciate her?" Why would you have a smile on your face and be so happy on your birthday after you opened up a present? Why would you be so thankful to someone for a special thing they did for you? think: these things are called"praise as well"
