Ughhh, these questions are so stupid.
Free will, faith, humanity, blah blah blah, it's not like you know it already.
I'm not a Christian, but you annoy me.

Have you ever thought that maybe he does? God can prevent evil in the world but he's also given us "Free Will" to make our own decisions. That is where we all stumble. We are all sinners but hopefully all of us choose to serve a just and forgiving God. The bible tells us that God will not be mocked. Our sin will find us out. None of us know the day or the hour that we will be called away from our earthly bodies. One day I will have to accout for my actions to my Holy Father. I'm not accountable for anyone else's actions. I know that I am put on this earth to do good works and hopefully help curb the evil that exists.

It's the line about free will. Apparently an omnipotent god not only can't stop those who would do harm, it also cannot remove innocent people from harm's way. Doesn't sound exactly omnipotent but that's what they say.
The Bible also says that god created evil, so there's another thought.

God is omnipotent...unfortunately evil is done because not all seek his loving guidance. And until those individuals reach out to receive him, the saints of the world will continue to be victims of this evil.
But prayer is powerful....God bless!!!

There's a difference between having power and choosing to use it.
Kinda like with human beings. They could be good...but they often choose not to be.
As an omnipotent but rather hands-off deity, God doesn't intervene in people's free will. So evil is not prevented if it tampers with someone's CHOICE to be evil.
Of course, this policy of non-interference does make God a rather slippery subject, one that's very hard to prove.
He's sorry about that.

Well, I don't believe in the whole concepty relating to religion. Although I do believe in a higher power. The answer to your question regarding a biblical answer is free will. According the the bible, god granted every man/woman free will at birth and let them as an individual decide whats right and wrong.

God made evil ( Isaiah 45:7 ) . He also mentions He is going to end it when the worlds time is up. It is a tool ..nothing more .

The same reason he can't cure HIV or didn't save my sister from cancer or hasn'r stopped ANY of the wars going on. More people have lost their lives "in the name of God" than for any other reason. It's simple. The invisible guy up in the sky is simply not there.

There is still the Devil. Besides, there can't be a good without evil. Then there would be no balance on earth. Sometimes God does put bad seeds on the earth to test the rest of the peoples faith.

If god is all-powerful but does not want to prevent evil then he is NOT an all-loving god.
If he wants to prevent evil but can not then he is not an all-powerful god.
If he can not and does not want to prevent evil then why do we still call him god?

there pnce was a time when he did that, but then humans disobeyed one simple command and made the world sinful, but if you need protection from evil then all you need to do is pray and god will give you opportunities or chances to sovle those issuses, only God can save us in dire time of need and all you need to do is ask and he will provide your every need
