Just starting to do research now, but which is better?

Which brand names is best in your opinion, and why?

LCD or projection screen?

What size is TOO big?

plasma still is top - until better lcd comes along
projection is cheap - lcd expensive - plasma middle.
projection has limited view angle

TOO big is when u can't get out of the room in an emergency.

figure view distance = 1 foot per 10 inches of screen size
50 inch = 5 ft away for 1080p, lower resolution double it.
