The continent is very big and the temperature varies just like the USA. We have warm tropical regions and cold temperate regions and even colder down south as we move towards the south poles.
We have deserts and snow fields.

So , yeah... some part is warm all year but some parts will get cold enough to snow.

It can get cool to cold in southern Australia in the winter with snow on the higher parts of NSW, Victoria and Tasmania. Inland you will get frosts in the winter, even in the tropics but it is always warm on the tropical coast and just about anywhere in the summer months.

50 degrees F = 10 degrees C. 23 degrees C = 75 degrees F.

It is 75 degrees here now but it is summer. I am in Sydney and it rarely snows in Sydney. Even if it does it melts quickly.

Super cold? I live in Maine and in the summer it can get cold at night, and sometimes down to -14 in winter...
