I've been participating in R & S for only a short time. In that time, I've seen quite a bit of rich discussion on a wide range of topics. That's great! And it's why I've decided to hang around.

I've also seen some discussion of things that some of us don't like about R & S. It is easy to point to something that we don't like. Or to tell someone else what they should do to fix it. I'd like to challenge the community to do something much more difficult. Tell us what you personally would like to do to make it better.

I'll start the discussion off this way:

When I respond to a question, I would like to take a moment before sending it to read what I have written and think about how the questioner and others will hear it.

I do that too...re-read my answers to make sure they make sense to others. I also add smileys :-) and (((hugs))) to my answers :-) It's a way to show open-hearted friendliness - and that way, I am truly treating others how I myself like to be treated :-)
