More details required, if it was stolen from or burnt on rour driveway or on private property with permission you would not need an MOT to keep it there and so if your have not been the author of you own misfortune your insurance should stand. However if you had it on the road it should not have been there and your insurance may be rescinded

it depends on the ins co .i rolled my truck and the mot had been out for two months they still paid out. you cant not tell them about the mot as they will ask for it.
you can drive your car to an mot station to get an mot so it is insured.
you dont get points for no mot either, the police dont normally bother, all th mot proves is that your car was roadworthy on the day you had it done

No, you need tax and MOT for your insurance to be valid - sorry!

Keep schtum and the insurer may pay out. But legally most will expect it to be MOT'd and taxed for insurance to come into force.
