I stumbled on the gift on interpreting dreams. However, I did not realize that it was actually God working through me. People come to me with their dreams and strangely I knew what the dreams meant. And, whenever I told someone what was going to happen in the future concerning their dreams, it would come to pass exactly as I told them. So from that point on I have been interpreting dreams ever since. It is a gift from God and I did not learn it through a book or studying.

Perhaps I do not qualify to answer your question, as some of my training has been related to studying, but .... the reason I think I know how to interpret dreams is because the training process I have been involved in has a feedback dynamic connected to it.
As I interpret a dream (within the training context I mentioned), the dreamer is required to rate the interpretation. Because of this feedback, I am confident that the training I am receiving is on track.
Of course, because I am human and have my own concepts etc. I might not always be right, but I am learning.
I too believe that God gives dreams and so it is really he who knows what a dream actually means. What I try to do then, is operate within the gift he is developing in my life and listen for what he is trying to tell the dreamer.

Well, I don't pretend to have all the answers about dream interpretation, and I may be off base when I do answer, but in my own life, my dreams usually have some kind of significance based on my own way of thinking...like when my life is chaotic with too much going on, I have nightmares about tornadoes "getting me." Or when I'm excited about something new in my life, I dream about being pregnant. So I ask people to think about those kinds of things when they ask me what I think a dream means. Might work for them, might not.

depends on what u dreamt? did u see urself falling from the sky and landing in the arms of an italian, and u're thinking 'wow, what a man WAYYYYYYY better than croatian losin loser stinking rat weak man'??
i am sure u would know what that means. normally, the ladies see me in person so that i can unfold what their um, dreams mean. yeah, that's it.

you just think of the base of the dream peolpe usually dream about their problems.
