God Does Exist. Fool

Psa 14:1 [[To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David.]] The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there is] none that doeth good.

Happy Solstice and Merry Yule. IF that doesn;t do it for you try the humanitarian aspect of it. Volunter your time at a homeless shelter or give money or gifts to toys for tots. Send a letter to a member of the military over seas. To me Christmas is a time to give and a time for reflection. Not to mention a major Oagan holiday for me, but I try to take all of the good from all of the religions and use it ti help ohter people. Maybe that would make this time of the yar more special for you. Giving always means that you get something back, even if it's only a hug or a smile. Don't knock the good feelings.

As far as I can see, it has only whatever meaning that each individual (or group, if it's a groupthink deal) assigns to it.

My ideas for this year aren't working out the way I planned. My family members are so independent, it's like herding cats, they resist the implied imperative to spend time with each other, of course they do. Why would I be surprised...or as inexplicably...angry about that as I am? A leftover hangup from the old theism, I guess.

Next year, I'm going to try being drunk in a tropical place, surrounded by atheist friends.

Have you died and then come back to life? You don't have the answers, and neither does anyone else living on this Earth. God could exist and he could also, not exist. But, none of us can really go and check, and then let someone else know, can we?

Christmas to me is a time to get together with the family. I am not Christian, so I am not celebrating Christ, but I will in all liklihood celebrate Christmas till the day I die, because my family does, and i cant disinclude myself from a family gathering withotu appearing rude. Plus in my family it's not about Jesus, its just like a family reunion.

Do you know for a fact that God does not exist.

Then that would make you the smartest person who ever lived because that would mean the you know everything, and I seriously don't think that you know everything that has been or will be. So don't make a claim that you cant back up.

what is the meaning of living this life when you have nothing to live for or believe in? just live your worthless valueless life and then die and meet your creator then he will answer you "what is the meaning of christman, when things like God dont even exist?" i also would not recommend saying "happy new year to all" at this point

Its all about the economy. Christmas has become necessary to sell merchandise. The fact the shopping malls are full just before Christmas should be obvious to anyone who looks at it honestly.

A joyous time of year where easily led consumers spend even more money than usual on material possessions. And all is well in the pocketbooks of the already filthy rich.
