Hit the gym, start a serious routine and stay with it. Include weight training and running. The Army physical fitness test requires sit ups , Push ups and a 2 mile run.
But do not limit yourself to only those.
Best of luck, and thank you for considering service.

Get a good decent job in the meantime, make more friends, study hard, work out and play some team sports.
You have to keep in mind that military training isn't some sort of fitness camp - you need good life experience to do well there.
If you're still concerned about the fitness side of things, just run at least a few times a week and do sessions of push ups and pull ups three or four times a week. Start with several sets of low repetitions, and work your way up. Avoid getting suckered into doing too much of the heavy gym work - having more muscle than you need will slow you down.

Join a gym with a trainer, listen to this person carefully so you don't hurt yourself. Have them work up a work out routine and diet plan. Include running be able to run for 4-5 miles with a time limit of 9 minutes a mile or less by the time you leave for MEPS. All of this will help in Boot Camp it will make the physical part easier thus making Boot easier. Good Luck you have time do do this IF YOU REALLY WANT TO.

worry about exercising your brain first. Its not like the old days. There are very sophisticated pieces of equipment that you will be working with and you need to be smart. as for exercising run A LOT and get good at push ups, sit ups and pull ups.
