Outside of the Bible there is very little evidence of Jesus living. There is a list of historians that briefly mention Jesus.
I was wondering did any of these historians live at the same time as Jesus, and also lived near, or saw Jesus. If so if you could please give their name, and a link to a website that at least estimates when they lived.
Also, if you want to throw in any other hard evidence of the Bible, outside of the book itself I would be interested to hear it.
Thanks.

No, none of these writers lived in the time of the alleged Jesus. Including the bible, the earliest accounts of Jesus was about 4 to 5 decades after Jesus' alleged crucifixtion.
Some of these documents have also been declared by scholars as forgeries (Josephus). Lucian, the Talmud, Thallus, Tacticus are other writers who are alleged to have written about Jesus. Please see reference to examine, in detail, the problems associated with these documents.

Archaelogy is progressively discovering more and more of the sites and people of the Bible that just 50 years ago folks were insisting never existed.
as for Jesus you need to look up Josephus.
See Lee Strobels books : The Case for Faith, The Case for Christ,
The Case for the Creator.
See D. James Kennedy Books: What If Jesus Had Never Been Born?, and What If The Bible Had Never Been Written.
C.s. Lewis:Mere Chrisianity and Norman Geisler's book: I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist.
That will give you a good start toward developing an educated opinion about the actual reality of Jesus.

To my knowledge there are no references to Jesus by anyone who lived at the time Jesus was supposed to have lived.
There is one vague reference by a Hebrew writer which has been claimed (by christians) to refer to Jesus but no such reference to Jesus by name, exists.
Remember, that every small group of Mesopotamians (tribe) had their own messianic expectation.
When someone decided to create a new Judaism ( some believe it was Saul - later called Paul, they wanted a form of Hebraism that had actually received their awaited messiah.
This new Judaism was later called christianity. No evidence of the character Jesus has even been presented.

The bible is actually a compilation of many many books bound together into one volume.
Josephus is one jewish historian who mentions Jesus outside of scripture. A passing reference to some of the miracles he did.

There is Josephus, who was a Jew working for the Roman emperor but his mention of Jesus as god was inserted into his work by christian scribes. It is not valid, yet many christians still believe it to be authentic only because it serves their interest.
