I recently got a siamese kitten from a breeder that had him on mostly Friskies wet food and dry food.

I've been weaning him off it and giving him Purina kitten dry chow most of the day and mixing a little of the wetfood with it at night, so his tummy is upset and he's been havng diarrhea.
She gave him his last wormer before we took him home, but I think it's from the food change not the wormer.

What dry food is best for sensitive kitten tummies?

Which dry food would be a quality one?

I would like to avoid feeding him wet food if I can.

They are both pretty bad foods. WAY too much corn for most kittens. Many have diarrhea on these foods since kittens have a problem with all that corn.
Maybe switching to a better quality dry NOW and seeing what happens.
Bring kitten and fecal to vet ASAP also. You would be suprised at the number of "wormed" kittens that come in FULL of parasites!!!!!!!!!

Go to PetSmart or PetCo. They can point you in the direction of a good quality kitten food. No wet needed.

If diarrhoea persists for more than three days take a stool sample to the vet for testing and they will be able to identify the cause and give you the appropriate medication to help you poorly kitten.

I feed my cat dry food, he comes to the store with me and sniffs the bag he wants (so it changes a lot) and it gets mixed in with the rest of the food.

my kitten i feed cooked beef/steak/chicken and rice. She loves it. My other cat won't touch it.
