Geez it is just an 18 month little boy so why make an issue of it?? I'm sure your daughter has seen him in the bath or without a diaper so what's the problem. She is likely well aware there are differences between boys and girls by now anyway.

It's her brother, my brother and took baths together until I was maybe 6 or 7, he is 21/2 years younger than me. My best friend and I would also run around in our panties up until the age of about 10. There is nothing sexual about it, it's a family relationship and no one should feel ashamed of their bodies. Heck, I played on the boys baseball team when I was 6 and when all the boys took off their shirts to cool off, so did I. At first the dads were a little uncomfortable but none of the boys seemed to care, I was just one of them, and my mom just shrugged her shoulders because I wasn't being offensive, I just wanted to cool off too.

Let them both run around nude if they want, it's natural.

It's fine, my son would go around naked all the time and I have other children they didn't mind at all they were used to it. It's something they grow out of in time though thank goodness. My son is now 3 and wear's his clothing!

I agree with spaz personally. If you feel weird about it, it may send out a weird vibe and make your daughter uncomfortable as well. My question is why should the boy be running around naked? I don't think he needs to be doing that at all. If he's potty training, than he can just wear his underpants, but children should be taught modesty, and it is much easier to teach them "we don't run around naked" than "at home we run around naked sometimes, but when we're out we don't" Avoid confusing him and make him keep his clothes on.

Its fine for your son to run around butt naked; its not going to hurt your daughter. Now, if that was your husband, that would be a huge no-no. But considering its just a 18 m/o child; well, its fine.

this is a total personal choice - if you feel uncomfortable with it - then it is perfectly fine that you make sure your 18 month old is covered at all times. Neither choice is more right or more wrong.

exposed to what?? thats your sons naked body, its natural, and its her brother! the human body is nothing to be scared or ashamed of, everyone would be alot better off if they had the same ignorence as your son.
