previewing DVDs?

how can i stop window media player previewing the dvd's that i down load from limewire i use to use avs video player but since i have install windows media player it has taking over.....how can i stop this from doing this and letting the avs video player take back over

It sounds like when you downloaded the windows media player you selected it to be the default player during the install.
You will have to select the avs player as default if you want to use it exclusively.
