From where we stand, He went before us. So, from our current prospective he is like a older, wiser brother, or the Master we hope to be like one day.
Blessings.

The Bible teaches us a lot about Jesus if we read it and ask God to help us understand it. Jesus' birth was fortold by many prophets, as much as 400 years before it actually occurred. ALL prophecies pertaining to a Jewish Messiah (or Promised One) were fulfilled in Jesus' birth, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension into Heaven. He was born to a Virgin. That in and of itself makes Him radically different than you and I. He was without sin. That means He never said a bad word, thought an unkind thought, had lustful wants, transgressed the law of Moses or the teachings of the Jewish faith. He healed the sick, made the lame walk, gave sight to the blind, cleansed lepers, cast out demons, turned water into wine, walked on water, calmed a fierce storm by saying "Peace, be still", conquered death and the grave by rising from the dead, and even raised the dead, Himself.

I don't know about you, friend, but that is plenty different than me!

Jesus was the same as us in the fact that he lived a normal life hear on Earth, had a human body, dealt with temptation, etc. However he is different because he is the son of God, and God at the same time. He also never sinned

He is the son, I am daughter; he is innocense incarnate, I am innocense redeemed. He suffered for all sins, I committed my own and shall not pay with death. He lives so that I shall. He is the son of God, I am Daddy's girl.
