Admire her from afar....this is your best friends girlfriend and there is an unwritten rule not to go after your friends partner unless you want to lose the friendship. If she is dating your friend then she wouldn't accept an invitation to go out with you since she is in a relationship and it would just make things very uncomfortable btween you in the future.

Yes, certainly wait. If they split, you can have your chance. Meanwhile, try to stay as close to her as comfortably possible. Be her very best friend. She'll come around.
