The spring of 2000, when my daughter was born stillborn. I was numb for about a year. My comfort was Christ and reading The book of Job. From it I learned that somethings happen that I will have no answer as to why.
Now, the Lord has blessed me with another daughter and 2 sons.

This was..is...always the hardest season of my year, and it is that way every year. This is the time of year when I am isolated, and I do mean completely, physically alone. No family, no friends, no work, no holidays. Isolation, reflection, and study. It's the only time I have in the year to be left alone to do my own thing, and that is something that "people like me" (as my mother puts it) need to have or we go nuts. Come January, I will be working extremely hard with no breaks for months.
This time, it's changing me a lot. I learned that I know even less than I thought. I learned that no matter how far I have come, I have further to go than I realized. I learned that although I am happy, it is really hard work, and I learned that although I am unhappy for these few days, it's a cathartic thing and it won't last. Things will be better by this time next year. I'm more emo this time.
Same thing I went through last year, basically.

Moving from all my friends and extended family in the summer between 8th and 9th grade put me into depression. It was a whole state away, and I was so lonely. We are so far out in the country that I didn't really make any friends that I could hang out with at first. I got closer to God during that time. I also realized that Earth is not my home. Heaven is my home, Earth a hotel. I continue to grow closer to God and am able to help those who are where I was.

Two bad relationships in the last 13 years! I wish I would have chosen a real Christian man for my mate.
