Wassail has so many variations, that you can make it with or without a particular seasoning and just keep your nose in the air and don't tell anyone.
"Traditionally", it was an ale-type hot spiced punch, with toasted bread floating on top. This is where the phrase " making a toast' came from.
People still make it with warm beer or ale, and sugar, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cloves, and nutmeg. But you can also make a non-alcoholic version with apple juice or cider.
Wassail is a different drink, although related to, mulled wine. You use the same spices with mulled wine as with wassail, but use wine, usually red but I have seen it made with white.
If you ever get a chance, New Braunfels Texas has a Wassail Festival around this time every year. Contests and prizes for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic wassail. The competitors will either give you a taste in a small cup, or you can bring your own "Wassail Cup", which holds about 1/8 of a cup.

I'm sorry but I don't know what you're talking about. However, if you would like a non alcoholic drink, that tastes like wine, mix grape juice with Seven-Up.
