You're pretty but the image is so-so. Eyes look dead, needing catch lights to wake them up. He's got a lot to learn, but didn't we all at some point? Tell him to keep learning!

Can't tell from just one shot. This could have just been a fluke.
The eyes are 'dead', the sepia effect is OK but nothing unusual, the composition is better than quite a few we see here but there is a distracting top left corner.
Face it, anyone with a half-decent digital can produce a good shot now and then. Consistency is another thing.
Being a photographer is another matter altogether. If all he is shooting is you, then that doesn't qualify as a 'photographer'.
To answer your question 'Is he any good?', we need to see much more.
Compare yours with this - similar subject, sepia too ... then you be the judge

Gonna back up perki here, flat even light, no catch lights in the eyes and a very cliche sepia wash PS effect, I'm not seeing anything special here... practice makes perfect and shooting digital offers the opportunity to accelerate the learning curve.
G' Luck and keep shooting !!!

Anyone can do good pictures when the model is so beautiful.
I can't tell if he's good, but I'm sure he's lucky.
