Yes, certainly. Your metabolism will be more active and in a few days' time, it'll be faster. But it might take some time in your case, if you don't exercise.

Depends whats in the meal. If you eat that much veggies and fruit you will not get enough calories, your metabolism will slow and you will lose weight more slowly.

If you eat that much chocolate, chips or french fries you would gain weight.

To lose weight, eat about 1200 calories a day with 5-10 servings of fruit and veggies, 2-3 servings of protein, 3-5 servings of carbs, 2-4 servings of milk or dairy. And add a 30 minuter brisk walk to every day.
