I would agree that they don't know they're naked, because they're babies and they don't know much. That's about the extent of the agreement.

Well babies don't know that being naked is frowned upon, that has to be taught them, so we can't blame that on Adam, or Eve as the bible does.
The forbidden fruit was supposed to give them, and us all, the knowledge of good and evil, but if these concepts weren't taught to babies, they would grow up without them.
Men invented the concept of Good and Evil, they just thought they were Gods.
And for those who say we all learn it is wrong to go out naked, I have learnt that there is nothing wrong with the naked body, or the naked body in public, I laugh at society's attitude to nudity.

The fact that people are ''punished for someone else's 'sin' is ridiculous.
That's like YOU stealing a coat, and then I have to serve your sentence. that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.
If I am going to be responsible for what I do, then I take the flack, and the 'punishment.
Babies are not guilty of anything, being naked, or anything else. and ANYONE who says that they are, is SICK AND TWISTED.
Original sin, is the biggest crock of BS, in the bible stories.

What's the forbidden fruit then? And what's wrong with being naked anyway?

Eve had not eaten the fruit so there was no way for her to know that disobeying was wrong.
Also they were naked before they ate but it wasn't wrong until they knew it was wrong. Seems like both of this thing contradict each other.

Dear London,
Babies do not know too much of anything.... They have to learn. In addition, if they did know they were naked, they could not vocalize the fact to their caretakers. "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32).

I'll throw my 2 cents wroth in on this one.
The ablity to know good from evil (clothed or naked) in this case is a spiritual matter. It (the ability to know good from evil)will happen to the child as they grow older no matter if they eat waht the forbidden fruit is/was or not.

I would suspect that they do know they are naked, but they can't do anything about it because they're babies and they may not care much anyway. That's why babies cry when they're naked.

babies haven't been taught to be 'ashamed' of their bodies yet, thus they see no problem with being naked.
