Good God, no, movie love is not real! But, if you believe in "soulmate", then you believe all the Hollywood nonsense, because that, and silly fluffy romantic novels, is the source of these ideas. There is not just one "right" person for you, not one "soulmate." I don't mean to drop an ice cube down your back, but the sooner you lose that idea the better suited for a REAL, realistic relationship you will be. Otherwise you will still be eternally an emotional cripple, waiting for the movie theme music and all the romantic horse manure to sweep you off your feet into the "perfect person's" arms. UGH! There are 6 billion people on the face of the earth, my dear - do you REALLY think there is just one person out there for you? Oops, if yes, then, sorry to tell you, yours is a 48-year-old CPA in Grand Forks, and you will never meet him, so this means you are doomed to a life of loneliness. (see how ridiculous that sounds when you put it that way? that's because it IS ridiculous!!!!)

You will find someone some day, don't worry, he's waiting out there for you. You'll meet a guy one day, and fall in love with him, I'm sure. Movie romance isn't necessarily real, because the director of the movie made the script the way they wanted it to be, so, of course, that's how the movie would turn out if the people were good actors. As they say, "There are many fish in the sea, but only one for me."
