It felt as though you were really visiting with them. I lost my Mom to cancer in May of this year and I have had a few 'dreams' of her that seemed so real.
The first dream she didn't say anything, but I could understand telepathically. The second dream, she spoke to me, but in a very soft voice, as if it were hard for her to talk. Both were pleasant dreams. The last one to tell me that she loved me and to let me know that everything was going to be okay with me (in my life).

Interesting question. I had a dream like yours about a year ago. I was walking down a dusty road and was exhausted, so I sat down for a minute. Two friends were walking with me and one of them pointed and said "here comes your Grandmother." I immediately got to my feet and began brushing the dust from my pants. I was elated and happy for the visit. It was then that I awoke - I was standing by my bed still brushing dust away. I have never had a sleep walking incident and the dream seemed real - like I was having a real visitation. It was very emotionally moving.

I think that is really nice. I am sure your Mum was contacting you to tell everything is fine and she loves you.
I had a friend who died recently and I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to her but had a dream that I was having a conversation with her. I am a believer in spiritualism and when people die they try very hard to make contact. Sometimes it is when we are sleeping or in a semi sleep. You can talk to them at any time though...I believe they are never far away.

Yes, I have visited the land of the dead while dreaming a few times in my life. I believe there is something after death. I don't know what exactly, but there is something.

I am a strong believer of this.....
Its a great sign that you have spirit guides and Guardian angels with and around you..... they may or may not be your loved one, but they are with you....
