Eve, of course! The Mother of All Living. She alone was smart enough to consider the beguilement of the serpent, to partake of the fruit, take it to Adam and convince him to also partake, so that man may be. For in the Garden, thye could not have had children, nor did they, and so because of Eve's actions, we are here!
Some Christians' doctrines would have you believe that Adam and Eve sinned during that time, but the truth is that they did exactly what God put them into the Garden to do -- To engage mankind in his mortal existence, which God could not have done to them, he being perfect, of course he couldn't have created imperfect beings, and placed them initially in a fallen sphere. They had to do that for themselves.
And so in the end, Eve is a hero, not a villain.

Definitely Mary Magdalene whose name has been deliberately tarnished over the years. As the first witness to the resurrection she became the First Apostle and as such puts the authority of the Roman Catholic Church into question.

These answers are so great! I hope people pay attention to the honor women are given in Christianity and Judaism.
As a mother, I have to pick Mary. Imagine being chosen to be the mother of The Christ. The responsibility and blessing given to her, what a woman of faith. She must have been so strong to watch her Son suffer for us all.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.

The prostitute whom Jesus forgave.... and that was NOT Mary Magdelene. Mary Magdelene was another woman, and was never... NEVER connected in the Bible with prostitution whatsoever.
Have a blessed day.
