If I'm applying for a computer programming job, should I include my sports experience? If yes, what should I write? e.g. should I write "2.5 years of Judo", or "Judo brown belt"?

On your resume don't write anything of that nature because it doesn't help. I've interviewed over 50 people just in the last month of an IT position within my company and hobbies didn't come into play. When reviewing a resume, the hiring manager wants to see information that is relevant to him/her not fluff and unfortunately that stuff is fluff. Unless you're in High School, only use professional information, to include any professional organizations you may be a member of. Such as Comptia.

No need to include sports in your resume. You can just say this during the interview, in case they ask you for your other interests.
