There are no spirit guides. If you hear one in your mind, you need professional help, and quickly.

Take it to a more scientific nature. Our thoughts are energy and energy travels in waves. All a radio does is take this invisable energy and tune it down into a lower frequency that we can hear then amplifies it through the speakers.
Our thougths travel as well as energy, whether it is a small ammount or large, we don't know. Some believe that there is a collective mental network that through meditation and enlightement we can all tap into at some point in our lives. Telepahty is simply being able to pick up the frequency our thoughts travel on and slow them down into an energy field that I brains or minds can translate into words.
Most of what we can pick up on as humans are "feelings" instead of "thoughts" but that is one step into telepathy. Think about it, if you walk into a room where someone has bee crying and you don't know it, you probably wont be hit with a feeling of happieness and joy. You may not even feel anything in the room, but for some reason, your good mood just left for moment and a new more mellow mood has taken over.
We fire off emotions every day and don't know it. Some of us out there with random mood changes may be more receptive to this or just plum nuts. Who knows. From a logical stand point, a spirit guide is most likely an imaginative figure that helps the mind understand and decode the frequencys. But I guess no one really knows.

obviously telepathy is spiritual talk. There are no physical sounds only spiritual. Believe this if you want. I was paid a visit at night from a Angel of the Lord . He woke me from my sleep and spoke with me. He hovered over the top of the house just outside my bedroom door. He had the sound of a trumpet when he spoke and out of that sound I could understand what he wanted to communicate. The sound was the tone of a middle-c played on a piano, Out of the sound of the a trumpet it said Jesus Christ is God and he came to the earth in the flesh FAST. That was all he said but as far a telepathy goes this was even a step farther. It was amazing! Also, I have experienced this so called telepathy on another occasion but it was nothing I wanted to do or anything I practiced. I was paid a visit by a dead man at night while I was asleep, it was the soul of a man and he came and spoke to me. He used telepathy to communicate. What he said was short and when I replied I screamed at him then told him to leave. He was evil. He left . When he spoke he spoke through his mind and i understood what he said. It was as if he was specking but no words came out and his lips didn't move. I just understood. True story. As far as this Angel that communicated with me it was during the period of the first Gulf war.

a person can hear thoughts clear in their minds what typically, wouldn't be the choice of words they would choose if having a conversation. A person can also hear voices claiaudient where you can hear a voivce like someone is in same room with you. There are many ways to communicate with spirit. through dreams,signs and symbols, people, smell, claiaudience,clairvoyant,etc..A spiritualist church can lead you in the right direction if this is what u want to learn

It is like hearing anything out loud, most of the time. It usually comes across in thoughts. often telling you things you don't know. It is something, I believe, everyone does. The secret is to learn to listen when those things come through. Don't ignore or banish strange thoughts. If they are positive pay attention if not ask them to leave.
I know a lot of people are going to think I am crazy, but I always tell them I would rather be insane than out of it.

i wouldn't think too hard about the audible sounds and talking to spirits. the imagination can do wonderful things when the two are weighed together.
don't give up you still may be on to something.
but don't take my word for it.
it's one of those things you will have to decide for your self anyway.

Well i am an 7th generation "white witch" i see dead people. Ive never had a spirit talk to me..its kinda like im thinking uncontrollably...quick.and not always things i understand.More on the lines of crazy thoughts..fast..i never know who or what till i see something...i hope this helps
