Thanks to all who responded to my previous question about housing. The answers I recieved did give me a better insight and made me realize it will probably be in best interest for my husband and I to get a place off base rather than trying to get into on base housing. Another question I have is my husband is from India. He is now a US citizen and though he in many ways has adapted to life here in America since he has been here (4 years) is still learning the ways of life here as India is like a whole other planet compared to here of how different everything is. Will this be a problem for him in the Air Force?

It won't be a problem at all. Your husband's primary concern should be to do the best at what ever job he is given and he will do just fine. The Air Force is an equal opportunity employer and they do enforce anti-discrimination laws.

It better not be. I've worked with at least one of every nationality, including a guy from Nigeria and a woman from China (she was really hard to understand but we made it work, some Urkrainians, a guy from Bangladesh, etc.
Once in awhile, you'll meet a racist pig but the rest of us quash it pretty quick. As a whole, the Air Force does not tolerate racism or to a lesser extent, sexism.

No it shouldn't be a problem because people in the military are from all around the world. He'll probably learn about other peoples traditions and customs and teach people about his. Merry Christmas and tell your husband thank you for his service.
